The John Morse Band have toured the world and have been playing for almost 20 years (they started young) and have opened shows for Blue Oyster Cult, Bad English, J Geils, Robin Trower, Pat Travers, Robby Krieger, Zebra and more before making home-base in upstate NY. They have been described as early Stones and Doors with some Weird Al humor, have received great reviews on debut cd Life On The Bottle and voted most fun live act in upstate NY. John's guitar playing and showmanship has been compared to Stevie Ray, Ted Nugent, Angus Young,T horogood, Roy Buchannon and more, called a great showman and player by Don Wilcock author of Buddy Guys biography, and a powerhouse foot stompin raw rocker going off like a fire alarm by Brett Allen-Scene Magazine.
The band consists of John, Paul, Jim & special guests. They have been critically acclaimed worldwide and have a very strong underground following. The bands Booze Soaked shows have been compared to Ted Nugent, Stevie Ray, early Stones and more! John started playing clubs at 15 and has been going strong ever since. After more than 20 years and numerous member changes he continues to spew his own brand of boozy rock and roll throughout the NY area. After jumping off 3 story buildings, being seriously burned and close to death many times he still rocks with a wild abandon and raw energy!
